St Andrews is the flagship range from Wakefield Wines, owned by the Taylor family. The wines are a true labour of love as they are released only in the finest vintages, handcrafted from individually selected parcels of fruit grown on the family’s estate vineyards.
Enticing sweet spice and ripe tropical fruit pull you into the glass. Silky textured with flavours of juicy peach and nectarine, subtle cashew notes and creaminess from a 10 month spell in quality French oak and exceptional citrus length that cleanses the palate.
The winemaker suggests that this wine will age gracefully for 5 years, or enjoy now with chicken dishes in a creamy sauce.
