Produced from grapes grown in quality vineyards inArco de Sao Jorge, then aged in French oak casks for over 5 years by the Canteiro method before release. Gold in colour with notes of toasted almonds and honey. Slightly caramelized on the palate, fresh and polished. Certainly a sweet wine but with nice balancing acidity.
Excellent as digestive. Pairs well with sweetly spiced bakes, a cheeseboard with nuts and dried fruits or Christmas pudding.
