The 2019 is 50% Chenin, 50% Chardonnay, fermented in barrel then 3 years 2nd fermentation, zero dosage. This is a different blend and a longer ageing than the previous vintage and it’s beautiful.Another excellent wine from Chateau de Plaisance. Bright, fleshy green fruit and apple blossom aromas. The palate has excellent acidity and a lovely creamy mousse, hint of brioche, mineral backbone and an excellent length. Only a small parcel was imported into the UK, so hurry up before its all gone!
