‘S’ at Horst Sauer is code for Spatlese (late picked). Spatlese ripeness, but absolutely don’t think sweetness… this is a dry wine but rich, concentrated and ripe. Incredible balance between lightness and power, full of spices, earthiness, fragrant peaches, ripe pear and something stonier. Pair with sunshine, seafood and shellfish.
