VSOP stands for Very Superior Old Pale and has to have at least 4 years of ageing in barrel and is often much older. This one from Frapin is a lovely expression of cognac and like all of Frapin’s cognacs comes from their own family owned vineyards that date back as far as 1270. Pure flavours of vanilla, honey and toffee (but not added!) come through and the lingering finish is one to savour!
