We couldn’t believe that this was one of the top selling wines at one of our recent Winter tastings as Pinotage is usually one of those marmite grape varieties that many love or hate. This is richly-fruited, yet savoury and satisfying. Plummy aromas with a faint hint of barbecued meat. The palate is full yet soft with a rich mix of fruit, dark chocolate and plums. Perfect with pork belly or barbecued meats, boerwurst (traditional South African sausages), game or good old fashioned sausage and mash.
