A beautiful colour, an intense nose of blackcurrant and red fruits, and a powerful, well-structured palate. A good balance between firm tannins and soft, jammy fruits and a good level of acidity. Ideal with lamb, beef, game and matured cheeses. Ages well for 5-15 years.
