Cont’Ugo is the newest wine from the estate (first vintage: 2011), a pure Merlot of power and complexity, coming from a strict selection of the 40ha of Merlot planted at Guado al Tasso.
The 2019 vintage is full of ripe red fruit with sweet spices and cinnamon and a hint of peated earth. The rich fruit is balanced with a touch of acidity and firm tannins create outstanding harmony within the wine.
