An elegant nose packed full of blackberry and blackcurrants which is elevated but slight toasty spicey notes. The pallet has powerful, yet well integrated tannins wrapped up in rich fruit, chocolate notes with a touch of vanilla and spice. Excellent use of oak and tannins increase the drinking period of this wine although it is thoroughly enjoyable now, it should only get better in bottle.  

Can be enjoyed with lamb chops with garlic and herbs or try with a duck breast salad.
