This is Italy’s answer to Champagne, coming from an emerging estate in Italy’s booming sparkling wine sector. Ferghettina was established in 1990 and is nestled in the Franciacorta region, which sits in a magnificent location overlooking a beautiful lake. Skillful blending, meticulous attention to detail and long bottle maturation produce this sophisticated and gentle wine. It is layered with hazelnut, lively citrus fruit and golden apple flavours, plus it’s got soft, persistent pearls of bubbles. Drink as an aperitif, with soft cheeses or cold meats.
