It amazes us that Gruner Veltliner isn’t in higher demand, because its such a food friendly delicious wine! The grapes are grown on very steep terraces in the coldest but best grape growing area in Austria. As a result the wine is chalky with lime and lemon fruit, good creamy texture and long length. Drink with traditional Austrian cuisine such as schnizel or fish, seafood and poultry.
