A bottle of this at cellar fresh temperature is just perfect… proper wine. In the glass, the wine has a bright ruby colour with a fresh, herby, garrigue nose. A full flavoured red with a touch of liquorice followed by intense, rich bramble fruit flavours. Excellent balance, generous with gentle structure. What is more convivial than an improvised meal with friends? On the menu, omelette with wild asparagus, or an assortment of Chinese dishes, or carpaccio with olive oil and parmesan, or even a chicken curry.
